FAQ

What are your center hours?

Our regular hours of operation are 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Are you a licensed daycare?

Yes, we are fully licensed child care centers and inspected by Fraser Health. We are specifically licensed for Group Child Care for under 36 months (i.e. Infant and Toddler Care). All of our staffs are fully qualified and have all the required certificates, criminal record checks and first-aid certificates.

Do you provide food?

Parents are responsible to bring your child’s lunch and 2 healthy snacks to child care every day.

Do you provide part-time or drop-in daycare?

No, we only provide full-time child care. We do not provide any part-time or occasional child care.

How do I schedule a tour?

Due to the large number of families wanting to see our center, we only conduct tours for families when a spot becomes available for your child. Once you submit an application and we have a spot available that suits your request, we will contact you immediately to schedule a visit.

What happens when a spot becomes available?

  1. We will begin contact families on the waitlist based on priority.**

  2. When families answer our call or reply our email, we can schedule for a tour if you are interested in taking the spot.

  3. After the tour, you will be given couple days to decide if you want to accept or decline the spot.

**The waitlist priority is based on the following:

  1. Child of a staff member

  2. Children who have siblings currently enrolled in the centre

  3. Your childcare preferences are flexible with the start date and location

How much notice will I receive when a spot becomes available?

We aim to offer spot roughly 4-6 weeks in advance once it becomes available. However, it is not always possible as parents are only required to give us 1 month notice of their withdrawal.

Is there any fees associated with adding my child's name to the waiting list?

No, we do not charge for adding your child's name to the waiting list.

What languages do your staffs speak?

We are proudly diverse in culture and ethnicity. The primary language at the center is English. Our staffs may speak a second language as well like Chinese, Cantonese and Farsi.

My child is new to daycare, what's the transition period like?

In order to make the transition between being at home and being in child care much smoother, gradual entry is mandatory for new child. New child will only come to the child care for 1 to 3 hours during the first week. Usually gradual entry lasts for 1 to 3 weeks, depends on the situation. You will be informed a special gradual entry schedule before the start of the program.

Can I send someone else to pick up my child from daycare?

Only the people on a child's authorized pick-up list (the form that parents fill out when applying to our center) can pick up the child. If they are not regular parents that we recognize, they must show two pieces of ID to confirm their identity when they pick up the child. This is to maintain security and a stable environment for our children.
